Apply to join the SOS Summer Staff Team 2021! Guaranteed to be a life-changing summer, Staff Teams will be out in the neighborhood (Binghampton! The Heights! Orange Mound!) tackling roof replacement projects (no experience necessary! really!), seeking to learn together and from others, slathered in sunscreen, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ all the while! The SOS Full-Time Staff is all in to coach and invest in the Summer Staff family. It’s a job we hold dearly and take seriously any summer, but uniquely so in 2021. You can expect to be seen and cared for in this place as we practice living missionally together and shoulder-to-shoulder in Kingdom community.

how we work
Every summer we invite a crew of college-age men and women who are hungry for an opportunity to serve and grow in and engage the Gospel in a unique, hands-on, all-in, deep-in-community way. Roof repair (no experience necessary…really!), leadership development, fantastic community, and life-changing growth and fun are all on the menu.
SOS is committed to making homes in our neighborhoods (Binghampton, The Heights, and Orange Mound) warmer, safer, and drier. Every year SOS equips crews of volunteers (tweens and teens and college students and adults and anybody else who wants to roof!) out on roofs to do full replacements. Homes matter. Join us in the work!
