What is choose901 talent?

Here's some more about choose901 talent, our alumni program, and the history of our work

Choose901 talent

The Choose901 Talent Studio is an extension of the Choose901: Alumni Program. After decades of work with our Alumni cultivating young talent, we created the Choose901 Talent Studio to highlight Memphis’ next generation of leaders to our city’s employers and institutions.

We believe that some of the world’s best talent lives in Memphis, and has for generations. From Ida B. Wells and Booker T. Jones to Wendi Thomas and IMAKEMAKEMADBEATS, talent, innovation and globe-impacting work has continuously happened in our city, and specifically out of Black, Brown, Latinx and Asian communities.

If you are a Memphis organization interested in becoming a Choose901 Talent Partner, reach out to Travis Tinnin, our Talent Director, via email or LinkedIn.

Choose901: alumni

When you browse our candidates, you are seeing Choose901: Alumni. The mission of the Choose901: Alumni Program is to champion and equip our partner school alumni towards their highest vocational potential, encouraging a sustained passion for Memphis.

When you connect and hire Choose901: Alumni, you are doing so with someone we’ve been building community with for years. Often times we’ve traveled to their college campus to take them out to dinner, attended their prom, and had countless conversations and coaching sessions with them.

Wanna partner with Choose901 in ways outside of Talent? We host many events, provide scholarships, and much more for our Alumni Community. Reach out to Joi Taylor, our Alumni Director, via email.
